Apple Pie Smoothie! Simple, Delicious and good for you!

We love a good smoothie recipe! We sometimes get in a rut and have the same  smoothie  over and over again. When I find that is happening I like to try to come up with a new one.  This is the result of that effort this week!

This smoothie takes my favorite dessert (apple pie) and puts it in a glass! What is not to love about that?!!

Apple Pie Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 apple cored and sliced up (I like to use a sweeter one so I don’t have to add a sweetener)

1 tsp of vanilla

1/2 tsp – 1 tsp of apple pie spice  (start small and add more if you like so it won’t be to intense for your liking)

1 scoop of vanilla flavored protein powder (optional- this one is our favorite. It uses whole food nutrition)

1 cup of almond milk (or other non dairy milk of your choice)

handful of ice

Directions-

Just put it all in your blender and blend till it is smooth. If you need to add more milk to it to help your blender then go for it!

Put this smoothie in your favorite glass and enjoy!!
