Change 3 Challenge

My update-

Oh how I wish I could say that I have done so well on my challenges. I believe that honesty is the best policy so I am going to be completely honest with all of you.The only one of my challenges I did well on was drinking a green smoothie everyday.I didn’t exercise at all. I filled a water jug up and put it in my fridge last week and it is still there completly full.  As I sit here this morning feeling like a failure I have had to remind myself  of  one of my life philosophies. Failure is only really truly  failure if you learn nothing from it, otherwise it is just a learning experience.

With that in mind-This is what I learned from my experience last week with my Change 3 Challenges.

-The reason I succeed with the smoothies was becasue I made a plan and I followed through with it. I am going to write a post about it but basically I made up a bunch a freezer packets so all I had to do was grab and go. I looked at my life and came up with a practical way to make drinking a green smoothie every day much easier for me. I don’t think I ever really came up with a plan on how I could exercise 2x a week.

Life Lesson LearnedIf you don’t make a plan thenthe chances of whatever you want to happen in life probably won’t happen.

Another thing I learned this week is I really need to get back on some kind of schedule or routine with everything.It is hard to make a  plan when I really dont know how my days are going to go.  I need  better balance in life when it comes to so many things and I think a routine of some sort would really help that happen.

Life Lesson Learned- If you don’t have balance in life then you are going to be off kilter on everything.

The last thing I learned is if something is important to you then you do it. If not, you make excuses. I need to make my health as important as all the other things I make sure I take care of. As a mom I put my family’s needs in front of mine. I make sure they eat well and are taken care of because I love them and they are important to me. I truly see them as a gift and a blessing from God. I need to see myself as the same so that I become important enough to take care of too.

My plan of attack-

-Work on getting in a good routine this week that works for  my family.

-Sit down today during naptime and find some creative ways to work in exercise to my life.

-Make sure I have a cup of water around me most of the day so I will remember to drink. ( I did make up some fruit infused water yesterday that I really liked so I am going to do that again today).

  2. Thank you for the invitation and hosting. I love your Change 3 Challenge, I wrote a post and linked to your challenge. Unfortunately, after I wrote the post I went back to enter everything I entered my food links to the Challenge party so please delete them. I reentered them in the correct place! Looking forward to the next few weeks and see if I can keep my commitments!!
