Cheesy Baked Spaghetti (Healthier Version- so you can eat more and not feel so bad!lol). This is how comfort food and healthy can live peacefully together!

This easy cheesy baked spaghetti recipe is so good, you would never guess it was  any less healthy than your typical cheese laden cousin. I love meals like that becasue honestly there are just those days that I want some yummy cheesy comfort food, but I don’t want all the calories, cholesterol and everything else that comes along with them. That is why I come up with recipes like Cheesy Chili Delight,  Lasagna Soup, Chili Cheese Fries, and this one!

If you are trying to lose weight, get healthy, have high cholesterol (by the way all of my recipes are cholesterol free), vegan/ vegetarian, or just want a fun new comfort food you really have to give this recipe for cheesy baked spaghetti a try! The hardest part of the recipe is the moxy cheese recipe, and I have a video on there to show you how easy it is.

Ingredients:

box of your favorite spaghetti noodles

Jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce or make your own

Moxy Cheese Recipe

Directions-  Go ahead and boil and cook your noodles as the back of the box recommends. Drain the noodles really well and mix up the jar of spaghetti sauce into the cooked noodles. Now pour the mixed up noodles and sauce mixture into a oven safe dish like the picture below.

Next make up your Moxy Cheese Recipe in a separate pot or pan. Watch the short video so you know what it should look like.  Once the Moxy Cheese is ready pour it over the noodles and sauce mixture like the picture below. Don’t not stir it in.

Put it in a preheated oven ( 350 degrees) for at least 15 minutes. You will want the cheese on top to be nice and bubbly and if it gets slightly toasted it is ok, just watch so it doesn’t burn. Once it comes out of the oven you are going to want to let it cool for a little while becasue it will be very hot. Serve it up and enjoy it!!

If you wanted to make this healthier you could always add in some veggies too! My son loves this cheesy baked spaghetti meal but sometimes gets a little picky when it comes to big chunks of veggies so I will sometimes puree some veggies like carrots or extra tomatoes to put in the sauce. Feel free to share this or pin it for later!
