Easy Computer Programming for kids
My kids (ages 8.14) have been wanting to get into computer programing for some time now. I know NOTHING about computer programing so I didn’t even know where to start. I have read a couple of reviews on programs and thought I might add in something next year to our curriculum. That seemed to be a good answer but they kept asking if I had found anything yet. You know I love it when they show interest in a subject like that! I was contemplating trying to budget in a program and then this awesome woman posted her blog link in one of my homeschooling Facebook groups.
I swear if I knew where this woman lived I would send her a dozen cookies (but it is creepy in this day and age to ask someone for their address ),so instead I wanted to share it here with all of you. I am sure someone else has kids like mine who have been asking for something like this!
She gives you 4 FREE ways for your kids to learn easy computer programming . She also includes another paid way to learn and explains why she felt like this was a good deal (she isn’t making money on any of the links- just being awesome and sharing!love that!!)
I will be working in some of these into our schooling this week and I can’t wait to see how the kids like them. I will be posting throughout the month about what they liked and didn’t like about each site so stay tuned!
