Peppermint Patty Shake! Just like my favorite candy, except good for me!

Peppermint Patty Super Shake

Peppermint Patty‘s are one of my favorite candies. I am a sucker for them! The first time I made this one I knew it would be my favorite because it reminded me of a peppermint patty! I had to share it with all of you because it was just to good to keep to myself!

Two things make this Peppermint Patty Shake a super shake!

The first one is the whole food nutrition protein powder I use.I know there are a lot of great protein powders out there but this one is my favorite and this is why!

The second reason is the avocado I add (optional of course). It gives it a nice creamy texture and adds a really great healthy fat to this shake. I find when I add a healthy fat to any meal I feel fuller longer and I eat less.

Peppermint Patty Super Shake

Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk (or whatever milk you use)

1/2 an avocado

1 scoop of Chocolate Complete (or your favorite chocolate flavored protein powder)

1/2 tsp of peppermint extract or one drop of peppermint essential oil

handful of ice

Directions- 

Add all of the ingredients to your blender and blend away until it is nice and smooth! If you need to add a little milk to your blender to help it get the consistency you like go ahead!  The avocado will give this Peppermint Patty Shake a nice creaminess!
