White Bean Hummus! A super easy to make  healthy snack!

 

We love hummus! We eat it at least once a week if not more! We have made a couple different versions of hummus and I thought I would share some of them with you! Earlier this year I shared Roasted Red Pepper Hummus (which is amazing!!) and today I am sharing with you how to make white bean hummus.

White Bean Hummus

Ingredients:

1 (15oz) can of navy beans ( drained and rinsed well)

4 oz roasted red peppers (I just get the ones in the jar. I get the 8 oz jar and just use half)

1/2 Tbsp yellow mustard

2 Tbsp tahini

1 clove garlic

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1/4 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/2 Tbsp of nutritional yeast ( optional but I really like it in there)

 

Alright here is the easy part- all you have to do is dump all of that in your food processor and blend till smooth. I blend mine for a few seconds then stop is scrape down the sides ,and blend again.

Serve it with cut up veggies or tortilla chips for a yummy,healthy,and easy snack!   I also like to put it on a wrap sandwiches! I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think of my White Bean Hummus Recipe!
