Ranch Dressing Recipe (made a little healthier)

(made a little healthier)

I love ranch dressing and so does most of our family. We had a favorite ranch dressing recipe but I wanted to make it a little healthier so I tweaked it. We use this mayonnaise becasue I wanted to take out the cholesterol in the recipe but if you are not used to it you could use what you are used to and slowly switch it out for the one we use.  Slow little tweaks work much better than big ones!

Ranch Dressing Recipe (made a little healthier)

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp basil

1/2 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp dried parsley

1/2 tsp garlic powder

2  1/2 tsp  onion powder

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 cup almond milk ( or other nondairy milk of choice)

1 cup Veganaise  (we use original but they also have soy-free version too)

1 avocado (pitted and scooped out)

Directions:

I put all of the above in my blender and blend away till it is nice and creamy!  I store mine in a Tupperware in the fridge. Since it has avocado in it , the top of the dressing might turn a little brown. I simply stir mine up before I use it to get it back to a light green tint!

This recipe is really easy to tweak to what you like so play around with it and find the “perfect” mix for your preferences! I am growing basil and parsley on my Tower Garden this year so I will work on a recipe that uses fresh herbs next!
