5 Fun and Free ways to Exercise!

5 Fun and Free ways to Exercise!

Are you looking for some fun and free ways to exercise and workout? Try these!

1. Hit your local library!

Chances are your local library has a video section  that will have DVDs you can check out of different workout videos. Its a great way to tryout some different types of workouts (Pilates,yoga, dance,etc) without putting out any money. And if you find one you really like then you know it will be worth the investment to buy it.

2. Check out Youtube!

You can find just about anything on Youtube including almost every type of workout for beginners to advanced . Its a great way to try out several different  types of workouts or exercise and get a large variety without having to put in a large finical commitment.

3. Do a Fitness Challenge! 

These are great to do with your friends  on Facebook! Just put out a post that you want to do whichever one you choose and ask if anyone wants to do one with you. The extra accountability can help you stick to it.You can find several here, or just google 30 squat challenge for beginners or 30 day  whatever you want to do (planks,squats, etc). We will be doing a couple with our 6 Week Transformation Group.Ill be posting them on our Facebook page to if anyone wants to join in with me!

4.Walk in the park or local mall!

If it is a nice day and your local parks are safe head on out there and go for a stroll. This is one of those things that is much more fun with a friend so hope on the phone, text, or Facebook and ask if anyone wants to go for a stroll with you. When weather is bad I prefer to go to our local mall and walk around in it. Just make sure you avoid the food court!

5. Turn up the music and just dance!

Another fun and free way to exercise is to turn on iheart radio or find a station you really like on your radio and turn up the music and just dance away! Youtube is also a great free one to find the songs you really like. This is also a great one to do with the little kids in your life. They can get some exercise (and hopefully sleep better) and so can you! This is one of my favorite stress relievers!
